Tip for broke trans people if u want a haircut go to a cosmetology school, it costs like $10-$15 max and it's still a pretty good haircut

HOW WOULD CUTTING IT MAKE IT GROW FASTER😭😭😭??? Also how often more or less should I get it trimmed cause I wanna grow out mine rn cause I was forced to get a boy haircut via circumstances of not wanting to come out yet.

I have good hair scissors and I just tackle the little bent and knotted bits or the split ends as they come up. It’s a great activity while using the restroom because I have the trash can right by me and good lighting 😂

cause when you get a trim (especially regular trims) you only have to cut off a tiny amount, like a quarter to a half an inch. and your hair grows that much every month, so it's like 6 steps forward, one step back

But like. Why would that make it FASTER than just not doing it? Is it cause of split ends or breakage or smth.

yeah if you don't get trims, you'll get breakage and at a point your hair will break faster than it grows

Okay okay fair enough lol that makes sense. I’ll make sure to trim it then🫡 I got a haircut in like July-ish so I’ll get one once new years rolls around. God I can’t WAIT to have long hair. I want it so bad babes.
