in my experience self-identifying like that is a 🚩for TERF beliefs… like even if they aren’t explicitly a TERF they usually have pretty messed up beliefs about trans women (“biological males” / “AMABs”)

The only time I refer to myself as AFAB is when it’s medical related or necessary info, I don’t see why people have to say “AFAB man” .. just say trans man ? Or man ? I prefer saying trans man just because i like identifying with my community and meeting other trans folk under the umbrella
