I had to go through something similar with someone I really loved but he loved me for the woman he saw and not for me… it sucks, SO bad, but you ARE a woman, and she doesn’t date those. it hurts like hell getting through that denial, but the square doesn’t go in the circle hole. you two have an incompatibility that you can’t work through, and it’s better to come to terms with that than hurting both of yourselves by ignoring it

I’m really glad she’s supportive—my person was trans himself—since that should mean it’s not going to be a messy break-up. it’s going to be painful, but you can still hold on to those memories and know that you’re lovable.

Idk i have a meeting tomorrow with my therapist where I’m going to talk things out and see if I can figure out what I want to do. Part of me believes I can be happy either way but it’s still worrying
