I think a month, at least? Even then, it’ll feel “tight” when you first do it again

would i feasibly be able to shower myself by two weeks? or even a wipe wipe down

Baby wipes for the first two weeks (my surgeon didn’t give me the okay to shower until my drains were out to prevent infection). During my first shower, I moved my head down to reach my arms 🍤

Chiming in (talk to ur surgeon abt this btw dont just do what we said we did), I was able to "shower" the whole time. I rinsed my hair in the bathtub leaning over by myself during the first week w/out lifting my arms too high, "showered" my lower half regularly, and wiped everything else. I was cleared to shower w/ my back to the faucet after 1 week, could face the front after 2. I had DI w/ grafts (the grafts were why showers could only be from the back)
