imma be honest. idc. i just want an easy life. i know nobody has an easy life but i attempted suicide a week ago and im fuckin tired. i feel broken and hopeless and i dont understand why my life is so much harder than seemingly everyone else who at least gets to go to parties, gets to have a stable ish job, gots to have a boyfriend in high school. theres so much weight on my shoulders all the time that it makes being trans feel like a curse
I’m sorry. I’m glad you’re still with us. That all makes a lot of sense, and I relate to it myself. Thank you for explaining what you meant by your post. The post itself does say something pretty different (a common misogynistic stereotype) but I can see where you’re coming from now, and that it wasn’t what you actually intended.
A woman from a minority saying it doesn’t make it any more true, or any less of a misogynistic stereotype. Trans women absolutely have it harder than cis women, I agree completely with what you’re saying, and that still doesn’t mean that it’s okay or true to say cis women (or any group of women) do everything wrong and receive no punishment. Women are still oppressed. No matter the person saying it, it’s still a misogynistic statement and an incel talking point.
