Very much so! I had a close friend that came out as non binary my freshman year of high school and I distanced myself from him (he’s transmasc now) because, at the time, I thought it was political or sum shit. I feel terrible for that now. He deserved all the support he could get from our shitty school and I wish I could’ve been that for him sooner.
