Like I wanna be inclusive if I speak Spanish cause yk I’m literally trans but also I would prefer to both not sound stupid/be more offensive on accident lmao. I ain’t fluent enough to be able to tell lol.

I’m Latino; Latine sounds silly, as Latino is already gender-neutral and has been in use for centuries.

i think if you arent part of that group then probably steer clear of it, renaming an ethnicity to be more inclusive sounds like a hellish endeavor thats probably disrespectful to the overall culture as a whole which is why the opinions are so mixed

I mean I know that’s why I’m asking😭 If it’s too sensitive a topic then I just won’t use it I just wanted to here from queer people who ARE in that group to know for sure. Also just curiosity.

I am not Latino-American but what I do is use Latino when talking about the whole population. If there is a specific non-binary person that prefers Latine or even Latinx then you should use that for them though
