What do I call it when I want to transition really bad because I want to be a pretty girl, but I’m also happy with my boy body

For some people, being trans isn’t about how miserable you are now, but how much happier you could be

i thought this for a while and i was coping really hard. i even tried to transition, only to quit because i was too depressed, and i thought i would be better off as a man. for three more years i wondered why i was so fucking miserable about my body, and i had honestly given up on my appearance and my health till i started hrt. if you feel like you get nowhere working on feeling happy as a guy no matter what you do, you’re probably deeply dysphoric and don’t realise. i know i was

I’d say I’m constantly wishing I had a girls body, but I’m “surviving” in my boy one

gently, surviving isn't happy. it's survival.

I guess I try to reassure myself I’m “content” with my body but I find myself getting jealous all the time when I see girls. Thinking I wish I looked like them or could wear that

i felt the same way but i wrote it off. as a bit of advice, you can always just start hormones and quit for any reason. for me it was necessary to do so along my life journey. worst case scenario you realize it’s not for you but develop mild gynecomastia as a side effect. sorry if im being too preachy.
