Honestly we should just have meetups to use public bathrooms for the first time because I don’t want to be getting clocked alone in the men’s room and given weird stares when I wash my hands

Gave a man a confused look when he said I was in the wrong bathroom and he immediately said he was wrong and apologized. Confidence is so important. That being said it was still super scary and I was crying internally the whole time

I’ve done this in Arizona, Tennessee, and New York. Not being the most passing in AZ and Tennessee, I still got shitty looks but not nearly as bad as when I first started transitioning here in NY. Now I don’t really get many looks in NY, but haven’t tried it in AZ in a while.

Glad it’s getting better for you! I’ve done this in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, DC, Maryland, and all of them I was fine! Maybe I got some weird looks, idk, but nobody ever made it obvious or said anything, so it’s still a win imo
