Not a doer, but I heard to wait until 6-8 weeks bc it could slow your recovery. Also depends on complications and how you’re healing

7 days is the standard for most surgeries but idk for sure 🤷‍♀️

i think youre good to do edibles immediately afterwards but my buddy said it made him focus more on the pain and its probably not best to mix w the painkillers you'll be on. so maybe wait until youre off those, a few days

That’s very similar to what a friend of mine said too so imma wait at least a week for eddies fs

Bruhhh if only. I’m planning to wait 6 weeks until I start smoking or AT LEAST until my nipple transplants heal

That’s what I’ve heard too. I think I’m just gonna see how I’m recovering and go from there, but I’ve been planning to at least wait 6 weeks to start smoking weed again

I mean that’s usually the standard for having it not interfere with drugs going through ur system but yeah I would check with ur doctor since it does fully very between different surgeries

It's longer for a lot of trans-related surgeries because they want to minimize complications during the healing process & encourage small scars (this is true for a lot of bigger surgeries that are done with a cosmetic emphasis, aka caring about how the scarring looks), and weed interferes with wound healing

Def check with the doctor on whether CBD/THC interacts with whatever pain meds you're given - what you get and what you take varies a lot (I only took OTC tylenol/ibuprofen afterwards). Also, smoking may be especially difficult, because it’s chest surgery & potential coughing/irritation from smoking might be worse with the bandages & preexisting swelling/irritation in the area. Edibles might be safer to start with to avoid that specific potential issue

I definitely plan to ask my doctor and avoid going too crazy on smoking whenever I decide to start again cus I definitely don’t want to cause any more irritation to the area
