I see posts like this and assume it's bait before going in the comments and seeing them say shit that only makes sense if they were telling the truth about who they are. then I get sad that there's trans people who fearmonger and cater to ignorant cishets

based on his vocab (gynaecologist/lower surgery) he’s probably from the UK. just straight up TERF socialized.

why are we gatekeeping the GYNECOLOGIST. if you have a vagina, go to the gynecologist. Regardless of what you started with. Trans men without bottom surgery? Gynecologist. Trans women after bottom surgery? Gynecologist. I am in full support of everyone who has vagina going to gynecologist. Vagina disease not fun.

There are plenty of reasons, from checking hormone levels because being on e and progesterone can give them fluctuations like a period too to checkups post op. I’m sure there’s more reasons but it’s not exactly my area of expertise. OBGYNs also often offer stuff like STD testing which is relevant to everyone who is sexually active.

Gynecologists often are the ones that have to refer people for mammograms as well, which trans women are supposed to start getting regularly after ~5(?) years of hrt (or upon reaching the standard age of screenings in your area). And also yes anyone with a vagina should be going to see a gyno regularly

certain things aren’t necessarily dogwhistles but if you pay attention to people’s vocabulary choices they can indicate a lot about a person’s background/ideology
