amab transgender people as a whole are treated with so much more violence. this is not to minimize the suffering of other groups. it is so important to recognize the way the specific type of violent vitriol amab transgender individuals face from outside and inside the community. it’s heartbreaking

it comes from the idea that trans masc NBs are just women lite (i.e. disrespected) and that trans fem NBs are either trans women in denial or cis men in denial (i.e. not accepted or seen as “incomplete” in some spaces). it’s insanely frustrating for both & i get where you’re coming from

As an afab nb I will always do everything I can to support my amab nb siblings. You deserve so much better, I'm so sorry for the way that society treats you all. U are loved even if it doesnt feel like it now. There are ppl out there who will respect you🫂
