
i mean, not really. like even if the rape was done by a cis woman, that doesn't justify (although it doesn't mean the person feeling it isn't understandable and should be allowed to be worked through) them being weird/mean to cis women afterwards. one trans woman did that to them, and that's awful and horrific and it shouldn't have happened. and that's one person. working through that and seeing people who share that characteristic (transness) as just people, not Dangers, is important
idk man i was sexually assaulted by a non binary person and like i still have closeness to every type of trans person and enjoy their presence. sometimes ill see strangers who remind me of my assaulter and get uncomfortable, but it's probably never even been a trans person, and i know it isn't these peoples's faults that they share some sort of trait with that person
