Honestly roleplaying it with friends can be really helpful. Like having them call you a random name that isn’t your chosen or deadname, or using pronouns you don’t prefer, in a super set scripted environment so you can correct safe people in a safe way yk

This may not be the case for you, but for me it depends on the situation. If I know I’m never going to interact with whoever it is again, I don’t bother. If it’s someone you’re going to be/already are spending time with, I’d either introduce yourself with name and pronouns or tell them straight up that those pronouns/that name aren’t yours anymore. It could be as simple as repeating the correct thing after they say it. Obviously be safe about it though!
