I only know for cis women, I’m not sure about trans women. But 18 was when I started getting them yearly. -trans man

i started at 15 because i have a long history of breast cancer in my family, but i recommend as soon as possible because breast cancer can happen to anyone -trans man

I think 18 is the supposed start. I ditched my regular doctor when I became an adult so idk for sure

I mean yea but places are pretty inconsistent I’ve noticed. Like I’m 23 and I had two given to me without asking but the other 3 I kind of brought it up as a question/concern. Same with pap smears which I’ve only had one and don’t wanna do more but you gotta!

They need to be started when you’re sexually active or 21. Thats the one where they spread open your vagina and swab (more like scrape) your cervix I believe and test it for cancer. It’s also where the doctor can just make sure everything looks ok so no growths or spots, etc. it hurts but it’s not terribly awful

I skipped mine when I was 21 bc I was still in college and didn’t have a gyno in that town. Still gotta find one in the new town I’m in

There wasn’t much information on the post. Give the new information, I’d start every year after you begin to grow a chest

sorry- you typically are supposed to start as soon as you can because things are different for everyone. It’s never really a ‘do at x time’ for everyone
