Anyone else on T feel like they can’t access their full chest voice sometimes? Like sometimes my voice will feel deep and normal and other times I just can’t get it to do that. I don’t know if the muscles aren’t fully relaxing or what. It’s real annoying

how long have you been on T? It’s pretty normal to have voice cracks or your voice kinda changing around a lot during testosterone puberty and you’re likely comparing your voice like a year or two on T to someone who went through male puberty a decade ago

I’ve been on T for almost 6 years haha. I’m not talking about voice cracks or anything, just some days I can’t access those lower, fuller pitches, kind of as if my voice is trapped higher up in my throat. It’s hard to explain

I think this is similar to what I experience. I’ve always had a very small, very closed mouth, and pre T my voice was super high-pitched and closed off. Even though T did some work to lower my voice, without voice training it was still noticeably feminine. I need to actively work to make it sound masculine, and some days it works, but some days I just can’t reach that more masculine sound. My voice just locks up and suddenly can’t go as low and open as it needs to.
