definitely stay vigilante and have a plan if things go bad BUT trump’s executive order doesn’t actually accomplish much and is more for show if anything. he doesn’t actually have the power to criminalize homelessness/mental illness nationwide, it’s still a state/local government issue, so the states who already go after homelessness will continue to do so, while the states that don’t will just ignore this order and also real possibility this gets tied up in lawsuits like birthright citizenship

yeah it’s an order about removing homeless ppl from the streets. which is already bad but it’s very intentionally vague and talks about involuntarily committing ppl with drug problems and mental illnesses.

honestly I'm scared to try and update my passport, giving them information, literally saying "hey I'm here and i'm part of this group that you hate" feels like a bad idea

Oh by “update” I meant erase one parents contact info and write the other ones in instead, and also sign it cause I never did that for some reason lol.
