My parents are trying to fucking claim through the legal system that I’m too mentally unwell to make this decision. I’m 20 years old. They’re tryna speed run it, I hope I can get in surgery before or the judge calls bullshit.

I know it’s hard bc the system is transphobic and weighed against us, but on a purely factual basis, you’re easily covered. So take some level of solace in that at least You got doctors, surgeons, and so many other professionals who know their shit. They sound awesome. What can your parents pull out for proof against all them? Stuff that happened years ago? At most they find some quack doctor to testify who would get bodied by the others

Also I assume you’ve gone through all the stuff they make you do in the pre surgery screening considering the previously scheduled date was so close. So literally by the standards of the pros, you’re cleared. Thats hard for a judge to overlook. Again, the system is not exactly pro trans, but it’s hard for even the most unhinged transphobes to argue against that without going into conspiracy land about how the left is pushing an ideology
