i also went through planned parenthood for T and it was so easy 😭 last appointment was 5 minutes tops and won't see them again for 6 months. also you don't even have to go to the same location every time and my friend who does it doesn't even go in person

I regret every time I filled out that form and didn’t hit submit, I could be so much further in my transition rn

my appointment was genuinely one of the best experiences i’ve ever had in a doctors office. everyone was super nice and accepting and the whole appointment was just them taking some blood and pee and then a nurse talked the effects of T with me to make sure i understood, there was some paperwork and then i paid and got my needles and picked up my prescription i think a day or two after the appointment!! the appointment itself took maybe like 30 to 45 minutes including wait time

I was looking into also doing an online visit to make it less daunting

Could I ask how much it cost overall?

i think each appointment has been $30-60 ish with my insurance. you’ll need to see them, schedule 3 months out, then eventually every 6 months. if you don’t have insurance they take a sliding scale thing based off your income. i pay $30 a month for the T and the needles/syringes. it’s not too bad honestly

i did sliding scale with my income and i think my appointment was about a 100 bucks and then they also gave me three months worth of needles and syringes for 12 bucks
