i've been transitioned for a long time and am scared to interact with my community because i'm assumed cis. i'm a trans man and very proud of it but i don't have a lot of trans friends and feel pretty disconnected from other trans people

i’m in the same boat but as soon as you make a few trans friends who know you’re trans and are social it’ll get a lot easier. i tried to be stealth for the longest time and it was hard to get out of the habit and to let myself casually bring up my transition in conversation but sometimes that’s what you gotta do

you won’t get along with everyone, don’t expect to, but you’ll find your people within the community who you’re comfortable talking to and who share experiences with you

don’t get me wrong, i’m incredibly grateful to be able to pass as cis in everyday life, but to be seen by members of my community is so healing
