
For the person whose comment was deleted: it’s more likely that you just haven’t learned the sign. It’s also a newer sign so it may not have traveled to you yet. Traditionally it is fingerspelled, but this is a shorthand for it. Just as there are regional dialects in spoken English (pop vs soda) there are regional dialects in ASL, so it could also be that your region just doesn’t use it!
