I'd say the first step is to get a binder. many schools have programs that allow you to get a binder for free. if you're comfortable with it, you could also reach out to the housing department and explain that you're a trans man and as such you feel you should switch out of women's only housing. To avoid transphobic roommate issues, you can generally pass off binders as "compression tops" which like... isn't technically a lie

and i’m not sure if the rest of my hall would be okay with me staying there as a man. i’m also scared because im 18 and never told anybody else besides my gf that i think im trans. help please

You don't have to start medical and social transition simultaneously. Would it be an option to start T now, present as a woman for the rest of this year, and move out (either into gender-inclusive or off-campus housing) over either winter or summer break?
