There are people who can help you and if you have questions you can always ask them here and get a variety of responses, you’re bound to find someone who agrees with how you feel, it’s big and scary when you first realize it, especially if you don’t have trans friends to talk to it about and it’s definitely scary with how the world is right now
Don’t worry about being a mess that’s a very normal response lol. It’s a big realization so I’m proud of you for figuring that out about yourself! I think the best thing at least immediately is just talking to other trans people yk. What you’re doing now. And once you feel ready you can make a consultation appointment with a gender affirming care clinic (if medical transitioning is smth you wanna do. Which it sounds like it probably is tbh) you can do that at any time though so don’t feel rushed
I agree. It’s always gonna be worth it. I’m not very far along in my transition but even now I can scarcely imagine anything getting me to stop. Let alone willingly. And safety is a concern but there are ways to manage that. Community for one, self defense items like pepper spray, maybe self defense classes, moving to a safer area/state if it’s both necessary and possible in your case. There are absolutely ways to mitigate risk. But even if there weren’t I’d still say that it’s always worth it.
