the only way to ensure a localized effect is a localized application, people can take oral/patch hormonal meds to treat atrophy but for those on t it’s contraindicated to take meds that raise estrogen levels.

i use a cream for mine and it’s honestly not that bad esp since i don’t actually put it up there just rub it in the area. idk if you’ve gotta take it differently tho :/

i'm on the nuvaring for atrophy + stopping my periods (finasteride) and it's real nice in that i stick it in, forget it for a month, and then swap it. much less having to be aware of my genitals, plus since it's birth control it's free under the ACA
