I just moved out like a month ago and started hrt and haven’t been happier. Now the roommates I moved in with have realized they really weren’t comfortable with any roommates even friends rn since they’re a couple and want me out and now I’m fucked

They’re not bad people and I get where they’re coming from and their feelings are completely valid I just wish they better thought things through so I wouldn’t have finally gotten hope in my life to just lose it all so quickly

I also can’t drive so I’m so limited in the area I can try and find people in this city who I don’t know to live with because I might be to far to get to my job and no one is gonna want to live with a broke person with no job god I don’t know what to do

No, unfortunately, I needed to secure an income before then for their landlord to add me and I only officially got documents submitted to start my job, due to the manager delaying things for 2 weeks, today, just a couple of hours before this happened, so I never got added as anything more than an extended guest that can be kicked out at anytime.

how long have you been staying there? if you receive mail there, pay any bills, keep belongings there, and/or stay for a period of time, you are technically considered a resident and they would need to legally evict you. this depends heavily on state/local laws. i would take that time to my advantage and look for a new place. can you work full time?

I’m not officially on any bills and no official payments and only for about a month now so I don’t really have much grounds to stand on and have been struggling to find full time work as a recent grad so far

gotcha, and your current job won’t let you go full time? your city should have resources for you and your roommates should give you some time to find new accommodations. i’m sorry this is happening to you. do you have friends or anyone else you can stay with?

Unfortunately, they won’t. I asked, and they said they could only do a part-time run. And those roommates I got were the only people I knew that I could safely go to and could afford to help me, and now I’m here. They said they would like me to find somewhere else by the end of next month, so that seems to be my timeline right now.

have you looked at low income accommodations? in your city, there should be apartments that have low income housing and they may be able to help you too. do you have a car?

This all only happened a few hours ago, so I’ve been kinda in shock for a lot of that time, since I didn’t really think they would ever do this, so I’m still just now starting to look at things, because it’s a just-now thing. I’ve started looking roughly, but I don’t even really know where to start the process of looking for low-income housing efficiently and, unfortunately, I don’t know how to drive.
