And all these are selfies that were clearly composed for. Decent chunk of them are even lit in certain ways and have makeup on their face too. You are, quite literally, seeing these people at their best angle I’m not saying they do or don’t pass irl, I don’t know everybody, but I am saying that one picture doesn’t tell the whole story

Also (I’m a photographer as a side gig and hobby, so this is admittedly slightly nerdy territory) I can almost guarantee all are using their screen side camera lens for these selfies. Which has such insane distortion that it is in no way a reflection of reality. It’s basically a Diet Fish Eye lens Another photographer I follow on Twitter pointed it out too and even provided an example. Wack ass lens, I hate it sm

Even if it doesn’t tell the whole story, I wish I had even one angle where I looked as good as they do… but I get what you mean
