She went on to say not to dress like I like men and that the bible doesn’t approve. She would go on to badger me if I’m gay over the phone (a bad thing for her) I’m tired of fighting her for basic liberties and getting closer and closer to nowhere.

Hit her with the Bible(s) (figuratively and literally) she should realize the folly of her own words and that as far as I know, most bibles don’t say much against lgbt but if they do hit her with the quotes of things she does that would also send her to hell (ie: iirc one version states something about eating certain things during certain days/months is the same as killing your neighbor or some shit) point is you’re awesome but fuck your mom and fuck religious hypocrisy

I don’t know if I would say THAT. I want for her to trust me and us having a good relationship, but another part of me sees her actions as mental immaturity and instability and I want to limit that from hurting me as much as possible so I put some distance between us.

That’s understandable and I feel that way about my family, I’m also just a petty bitch tho bc if I come out to my family and they try doing what your mom was, I’d be hitting them with every hypocrisy they’ve committed while being religious bc to me it’s just stupid how religious ppl act sometimes

the Bible doesn’t even say anything about trans people/crossdressing other than a passage in like Deut or Leviticus. and that same passage has stuff abt selling your daughter into slavery and how touching a woman on her period means you should die. so like 😭 remind her that the Devil uses Bible verses and that it’s speaking through her
