 didn’t have any time to get ready this morning so messy hair, repeat outfit, no makeup, blegh. just cried in the bathroom before work. now i get here and my coworker says “you should let your girlfriend teach you makeup”. like thanks for noticing im ugly

i normally work so hard to look nice and the one time i don’t, he’s acting like i never do. i don’t think he meant it harmfully. he’s kinda older and trying his best. just ouch:(

it’s admirable of you to offer this type of patience & good faith, but imo it’s also 100% fair if you think less of him after that interaction. cause personally, i’m lowkey seething on your behalf 😭 he owes you more respect than that both as a woman And as his coworker
