if they want to do something but can’t get a gun, that solves the problem 99% of the time. Canada fixed their gun control laws and they’ve only had 11 mass shootings EVER. we’ve had 233 THIS YEAR. but yeah sure gun control doesnt work dumbass

the people who do this aren’t previously criminals, they’re mentally ill individuals who, in any sane country with gun control, would be stopped from obtaining a firearm.

so are these 16 yr olds that are shooting up schools getting it legally? i don’t think so. so a ban would stop them from getting it in a store but not other places. it wouldn’t work.

they usually get it from their parents who obtained it legally 🤷‍♂️ gun control includes gun safety and gun education about how to properly secure your firearm away from your children and often includes giving away free gun locks

It’s not an “excuse” to say that if he had gotten real help a few months ago when he called repeatedly called 911 because he believed there were objects in his body controlling him instead of being charged with “misusing 911” this likely never would have happened. Sorry but mental illness can be messy. Not all behavior can be neatly fit into “chose to do good” or “chose to do bad.”
