i didn’t finish the documentary yet but so far i 100% believe the parents just did it to try and get famous, he was never in the balloon he was literally in their house like if my kid went missing while our whole family was there at our house, yes i will be concerned about the huge balloon that could be holding my kid but id also search every single spot of my house and around it to make sure he wasn’t there. i think they had to both be in on it there’s no way it was just the dad then

the mom didn’t know like if my husband did something like that in general i would divorce him ESPECIALLY if he did it without my knowledge like you just made me believe my baby was going to die a horrible death in a big fuckass balloon. Also just hearing them tell the story so far they don’t sound scared or nervous at all, my mom still sounds a little nervous when she thinks abt the time she lost me in a crowd at a concert and couldn’t find me for 30 minutes (i was also 6 and now 25)
