What do you guys think about the Brian Kohberger plea deal?

I feel for the family because it seems like they expected the trial would answer their questions. Pretty weird how Kohberger had a sudden change of heart and decided to change his plea… probably felt like a rat in a cage with all that evidence against him (DNA, phone records, traffic stop)

I do want him to actually confess how/why if that does help the families move on but idk

I think he’s a coward, he knew what he was going to do the entire time. The fact the lawyers and defense team let it go for this long is a disgrace to the families of the victims. Now we will most likely never know the reasoning behind it all.

I’m against the death penalty, so personally I see no issue with it. Life in prison, no further traumatization of the victims family with a long trial, no televised case thrusting everyone into the spotlight. Win win to me

Maybe he really does have a fear of dying, and all the evidence against him and threat of death penalty got to him. He seems to love the attention too, and I guess wants to keep it as long as possible. He’ll have penpals, fan mail, hell even marriage offers probably for the rest of his life. Better future than the firing squad

Like OP said, not only did Ted Bundy get married, he had a child while on death row, after he was convicted.

I think he intended to just SA one girl and brought the knife to keep her quiet. But then got extremely mad when his plan wouldn’t work and just lost it. I think he wanted to instill fear into her to prove a point. Because that documentary said when he was a TA he was harsh to women and they complained about him. They claimed he was an incel which idk because idk him enough to make that judgement but we all don’t know what he’s like. Were painted a picture of him in their own way. We may never

Know anything he could lie through his teeth but what doesn’t sit right with me is denying you heard screams when you were on your phone the whole time. Timelines just don’t add up
