I used AI at my summer internship and then they rescinded half the interns job offers last month including mine. AI can't do anything that doesn't need to be thoroughly reviewed. It is the equivalent of a full time intern and interns are counterproductive for most companies long term

I was paid a decent amount of severance to sign an agreement to keep my mouth shut and not sue them for detrimental reliance. Basically I can’t say anything negative to their clients or future employers and when asked I’m only allowed to say the offer was rescinded due to AI related restructuring.
