generally speaking the societal expectation for most creative roles is that they are feminine… kind of? not in the sense of how like embroidery is considered feminine but more in the sense of how marketing is considered “not masculine”.
Why aren’t there any guys in creative spaces? I’m a writer and my classes are 90-100% female

Writing, Painting, Software things and other forms of IT creativity. Embroidery is a traditional skill passed from mother to daughter so yeah that’s a feminine element. Idk if marketed is the right word but traditional

It’s hard to explain. It’s less that it’s feminine and more that it’s “not masculine” if that makes sense? Now to be honest with you I don’t really give a shit what career you choose. Go out and be a nurse or whatever the hell you want. But some men care about it a lot more than they really should.
