Yes the vaccine is safe and effective. It also has rare but present side effects in some people. It also struggles to prevent reinfection, but also makes those infections MUCH more mild. It was a medical miracle and saved MANY lives. It is also NOT perfect and isnโt a requirement for ALL people, who many of which would be fine without it, or may face side effects. It is immature to ignore these facts, but nevertheless many do
so for the record, this is what vaccines are for. vaccines DO *NOT* PREVENT INFECTION, they provide your body with the resources to more effectively deal with an infection when it happens. you WILL still get covid, or any other viral disease, even with a vaccine. itโs just that most things are weak enough that once youโre vaccinated, you will likely not experience symptoms because your body is capable of fully fighting it off. covid is not like that, no matter how many vaccines you take -
- but it DOES make your symptoms far less severe, it DOES reduce infection time and it DOES reduce the amount of time that you are actively contagious, which results in less spread of covid and less overall activity. that is why it is SO important that EVERYONE gets vaccinated. IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT YOU.
