Haven’t we gotten a lot of good trade deals and lowering of tariffs from other countries thanks to them?

We’re being tariffed at high rate, we impose reciprocal tariffs, every country calls to renegotiate, tariffs get paused. China and Canada decided to retaliate so their tariffs got raised, we’re the biggest economy in the world so they can’t out tariff us, they cave, then agree to lower tariffs and do what we ask them to do… it literally is so easy to understand.

Yet they did in fact, out tariff us. We have a large economy but we don’t make shit ourselves we will always lose a trade war. Tell me, did you know what plummeted the Great Depression deeper? It was the tariff act imposed to lower prices when what actually happened was that prices skyrocketed and people died from it. Crack a book
