Again. The only thing of substance that you can tell any leftist that wants to criticize the Democratic Party is to just go start their own shitty little party. They don’t want a stronger Democrat party, they want to destroy it.

i mean y’all can throw your blind support behind another neoliberal. i won’t be mad when the Democrat loses again

well yeah the democratic party is corrupt as fuck. if it ever changes, i won’t be so vocally against it, but the party leaders putting their fingers in their ears and yelling “lalalalala” when we point out bad shit they do isn’t going to get us anywhere. they have to start serving their supporters and would-be supporters.

Democrats barely run in SC anyways, hence the local push for RCV and the construction of labor parties

I think we should democratize big business! C: no committees of upper crust people who know how to operate bureaucracy but instead people who know what the business does and what’s for the betterment of everybody within :D that’s my big kooky idea

and political power is most important at the state and local levels. it’s time to start contesting Republicans, because Democrats would rather fundraise than legislate

You bring this up as if it matters. Time and time again I’ve called you out on it and you agree with my assessment every time. You are a leftist who would never support the Democratic Party because you aren’t ideologically aligned with liberalism. You are fundamentally against it.

Homie I’m begging you to go to a democratic meeting I promise you getting people elected is in their top 5. Definitely getting lower prioritization than the offering plate and sending out post cards But genuinely, if you want change so bad, go to a meeting, use their resources and contest a fucking election Because genuinely, my county has 38 elections up for contesting where we voted 63% mark robinson. Let’s see some more action and a little less bitching

no, i’m good. SC Dems focus on our statewide elections and never the local elections which enables Republicans to have an effective single-party state. the goal is to change the place where i live, not aid the national DNC in securing seats in the national legislature for their representatives not to do anything with it. as it stands currently, most seats in SC at the local levels are unopposed. Democrats with their pools of resources don’t contest these seats at all

if a party with no donors, no professional staff, and limited resources can contest Republican seats better than the Democratic party can, and can do so even with SC Dems trying to vote them off of the ballot, then i am going to be more inclined to organize there, regardless of my own ideological position

I agree, mine don’t either, it took me 6 months to finally get them to send a representative to our town meetings But they did. That’s the point. If you’re so passionate about the issue. You need to take your ass up there and be involved. No one is coming to save us. You need to get up and do your part All this bitching about what a party that is literally open to the public should be doing is just that, bitching Those resources could be going to your campaign.

That’s fine, organize your own party if you want, are you doing that? Are you aware of any of your local mutual aid groups? Are you aware of the run for something.net? Are you aware of WFP making movement? What are you genuinely doing besides bitching on the internet?

Awesome! Like labor union? That’s awesome, have you taken any of the steps to formalize that process or just trying to radicalize people Radicalizing people is genuine work, I’m not discrediting you. I’m trying to point out that a lot of the time our fellow leftists are too caught up on bitching itself instead of using the resources available to do ANYTHING

You don’t owe me anything. I’m asking you. I didn’t say you did. The fact that your choosing to get offended rather than just be straight up is indicative of your lack of effort It doesn’t offend me no matter how rude you are. I’m involved in more than just bitching to my friends.
