Yes and? Literally all of congress except for a small handful love Israel, a country that has literally been doing flagrant war crimes for its entire history. America doesn’t have any problem with war crimes and never has. We just don’t like when people we don’t like do them, but for us and our allies it’s a-okay.

It makes perfect sense actually. Israel’s a great customer for our arms industry (which builds factories in every state so that more defense spending is good for all senators). Not to mention that there’s tens of millions of Evangelical Christian Zionists that think Israel must exist (and have very Jewish person living there) in order to usher in the Rapture (this involves every Jewish person dying horribly and going to hell by the way)
