Hey so I was in the hospital for 6 days after I had an allergic reaction to medicine, I had to have multiple surgeries to stop my eyes from hemorrhaging. It cost my parents over $350k and they expect to have it paid off in 12 years. I suspect that hospital bills for people over their lifetimes would pretty much wipe out that “$500k-$1M” yall think you’d be getting if you didn’t pay into Medicare. But no, you’re selfish and very short-minded huh
you’re so right. we should just die, skill issue if you get sick, skill issue if your employer doesn’t pay for it, just fucking live with it. the hospitals overcharge you that’s your fault too. If you work in a job that increases your risk of a healthcare problem you should just die like I don’t get it. People with this position never say we should keep companies accountable and push for government intervention; they just say get a better job.
Have you thought about the fact that maybe it’s because we have a lot of really fucking stupid people here that do really dumb shit to their bodies and are too stupid to give themselves a better life?? If you have money here, healthcare is better than anywhere else in the world. Not to mention, Obamacare made EVERYTHING more expensive. Made everyone’s healthcare shittier and more expensive.
In fact if you such a problem with the idea of paying for other people’s healthcare. You better be anti-health insurance too. The whole Idea of that business is pool others peoples money and only payout the people that get sick. You could have put those gains into the stock market…
