I went to a bar and the owner said I look like his teenage son 😭 I’m 23 with a full head of hair, all my teeth and they’re straight. Can’t relate on the new car or high rise, but I live within my means and have a car and apartment nonetheless. I’ve also got 2 degrees and I’m working on a master’s with 0 debt and make 5x my state’s minimum wage. Life is a cake walk when you have a decent job and don’t hyperfixate on what literally every other demographic in America should be allowed to do 😅

slaves are still a thing. it's literally outlined in the constitution as an acceptable punishment. in fact, slavery continued in several forms for decades after abolition, such as the system of convict leasing. not to mention segregation, red lining, anti-black terrorism (burning black wall street), medical and scientific abuse (tuskegee institute), over-policing, anti-miscegenation, etc etc etc

Convict leasing ended less than a century ago. Red-lining ended about 60 years ago. Same with segregated schools. I have spoken with people directly impacted by these systems and it absolutely affects them and their immediate family. You're dumb as rocks dudr
