Why do people defend billionaires and big corporations so much? Like, THEY DONT WANT TO PAY YOU. we have HISTORY that shows corporations will do their best to use you up till you literally die

Because there are no workers in America, only temporarily embarrassed capitalists. Everyone thinks they’re just one lucky break, or some really hard work away from joining the billionaire’s club, so they will actively advocate against their own interests for the interests of their hypothetical, extravagantly wealthy future self

For me it’s why focus on billionaires when the problem is very clearly focused with the republicans and Donald Trump. I just think it’s more important to villainize Trump and promote democrats than to villainize billionaires. Also please tell me what Warren Buffett ever did wrong

Then understand that giving power to big corporations historically has never gone well for the general public. If we weaken them, smaller more manageable businesses take their place. This happens consistently. Yet youre all scared theyll. “Never be jobs again”

Yes weaken the companies that supply Americans with 10s of millions of jobs. Good idea

Smaller companies with worse margins because of no scale which means less to pay. Small companies are a good thing but you cannot rely on that. There’s a reason there are shipping and oil “giants”

Smaller companies with worse margins but more companies to compete with, providing competition to actually give a worthwhile product. The walmart i work at that has a stranglehold over my town literally sells mold in half their fruits

Your best bet rn is to work at a company, work on a product internally that other companies don’t have, try to spin it off and get venture capital’s attention. But don’t hold y’all’s breath, being content with your place is life comes better earlier than later

respectfully this is so stupid. the republicans and trump are so obviously enacting legislation in the interest of the rich, it couldn’t be more evident if it was screamed in your ear with 1000 megaphones
