I think perhaps it should be illegal to lie about climate change if you’re a public servant

Disagreeing on policy is one thing but blatantly lying about concrete facts in order to enrich yourself and your friends at the cost of all life on Earth is insane to me

Especially when all the evidence is right in front of their faces.. but that’s pretty typical for those types of people I guess

For like regular people no but for public officials/major emitters I don’t think that’s that crazy. Big companies spreading misinformation about climate change could be viewed as a form of false advertising.
