What is the obsession with blaming billionaires? Why not blame Donald Trump, the person who directly ran and promised the deportation of all illegal immigrants?

billionaire takes priority over immigrant - when youre rich, youre beyond immigration status and many other social class divides

it’s because many billionares who back donald trump “donated” to make his campaign possible because they want everything like that to happen, and were also counting on him to lower their taxes even more

I agree that that happened, but I still think focusing the attention on Trump himself is a more effective strategy in actually winning elections. While billionaires certainly have an outsized influence on elections, I think the major reason that Trump won was based on feelings about the economy (which were exacerbated by republican fear mongering). I just think focusing on clear political messaging of what Trump is doing that is unethical is a better strategy than just blaming billionaires
