Complaining about your situation doesn’t do anything to fix it, if you had ambition you’d be able to get a nice house or cars. Our system is a meritocracy, if you perform well in the education system you SHOULD be rewarded with a successful career. If education isn’t your thing, blue collar work and starting your own business is always a thing. It all comes down to dedication and mindset.
Why work hard when you could sit on your ass, smoke weed all day, and blame other people for your own failures? Only to then turn around and suggest the way to fix your shitty life is a rebellion to overthrow the entire structure? Lame people gonna be lame people, man. Just let them.
Explain what you mean by “more fairness.” I’d also point out that hard work is insufficient on its own to guarantee positive economic outcomes. You also have to work smart. A degree in social justice or the fine arts isn’t going to net you the same median outcome as a STEM degree or a Juris Doctor.
I agree. The harder you work (in a field that the general population finds beneficial) should lead to higher pay. Farmers (our food), doctors (our health), and teachers (our future) should be some of the highest payed professions imo. I think it’s unfair how they work hard for the future, not now, and get paid pennies compared to the millionaires that just buy business when they’re at their peak, then turn around and sell off all the assets.
