Bc there’s a difference between a constitutional monarch and anti constitutional tyrant. The semantics you’re doing is very obvious.

the constitutions in question were written by the monarchs. what are you talking about

Anonymous replying to -> OP 2w

It depends what country we’re talking about and what constitution. The UK for example doesn’t a single formal constitution, regardless the message is about Trump not a stance against constitutional monarchs.

No, the no kings protest is clearly supposed to be about the Royal Family in the UK this is something we should spend serious time thinking and talking about. It’s not a pointless virtue signal to further purity test the left.

No one is saying you shouldn’t believe that. My point is purity testing over the semantics used overseas for a protest over Donald Trump is waste of time. But I’m glad you can get your not serious virtue signal in. Very cute and epic.

That’s not purity that is consistency shame that liberals lack that

Idk I’m talking to a child if you actually believe that slogans are meant to have the most literal interpretation and they don’t live within a context.

It depends what you mean. Idc if you vote for mamdani in fact I think you should. But if you’re talking about not voting for Kamala when she’s running against Trump that’s kinda insane.

I voted for Kamala. I’m not going to be angry at the people who didn’t because I’m capable of thinking critically and I understand emotional blackmail isn’t enough to win elections anymore.

Anonymous replying to -> #2 2w

Did you just vote for her bc of emotional blackmail I don’t understand your point? You blame leadership for not being good enough and also blame voters for not making the better option more likely.

This is what I respect 👆 because I voted for Chase Oliver out of morality and because I lived in a state that was obliviously going to Trump but I never shamed my leftists friends who voted Harris especially ones in swing states because if Kansas was a swing state I would voted Harris

Not because I like her (she literally has no progressive backbone to me) but because she is the lesser of the two evils

Ok that’s respectable if you would vote for her a swing state.

No, I voted for her because I want liberals to be the right-wing opposition in this country. I want to shift the Overton window to the left and hopefully, someday, liberals and conservatives will finally join hands and move to the right together while the rest of the country moves left. That would be ideal.

I voted for her because I wanted people to despise and loathe her administration so much, that we’d see the rise and need for genuine left-wing populism and the failures of liberalism would be on full display.

“Mentally ill” baby that’s politics. That tactic literally worked in NYC for Mamdani. A Democratic Socialist is about to be mayor of one of the biggest cities on the planet because his establishment opposition was so disliked and hated that people are desperate for change and progress.

🌊
Anonymous replying to -> #2 2w

That is not politics for most people lol. You’re supposed to vote for people who most closely match your interest, not bc you have a schizo theory that if dems are in office somehow that will make people think they’re right wing.
