it’s a place of worship, a sacred place. it’s not a place of warfare. tools intended only for killing don’t belong there. blessing a weapon seems antithetical to a religion who’s prophet spoke of nonviolence and turning the other cheek i know it’s a cultural representation to support the 2A but when the pastor is saying GOD gave the right to bear arms not the constitution, and calls the AR-15 a “religious accoutrement” it’s obviously not being treated only as a 2A thing.
