it’s a place of worship, a sacred place. it’s not a place of warfare. tools intended only for killing don’t belong there. blessing a weapon seems antithetical to a religion who’s prophet spoke of nonviolence and turning the other cheek i know it’s a cultural representation to support the 2A but when the pastor is saying GOD gave the right to bear arms not the constitution, and calls the AR-15 a “religious accoutrement” it’s obviously not being treated only as a 2A thing.

It has nothing to do with that. If someone walks in a church with the intention to massacre everyone, i guarantee you would definitely want someone with a gun in that church to protect.

Its a valid comment, guns shpuld be allowed and normalized in churches because churches are targets for mass shootings and attacks. People need to carry to protect everyone in the building

what lmao? this doesn’t counter anything i said. “good guy with a gun” doesn’t explain a pastor calling the AR-15 religiously significant, nor that weapons of war inherently don’t belong in a place of worship.
