I thought it wasn’t fair because one is TNT equivalent and the other is literal tons of bombs, but it turns out the explosives used in most of these bombs is up to 80% TNT. The only unfair part of this comparison is that nukes cause a sustained fireball and emit tons of radiation, but I think that’s not as relevant here since we’re not discussing the death toll
