so all conservatives? conservatism as ideology, literally since forever (like you can draw this same parallel back to the birth of liberalism in the 1600s or even the later years of the roman republic) is fundamentally against democracy. because the core of conservatism is wanting to preserve hierarchy and top down power, they have fought literally every political change in history that has given more rights to regular people and increased popular participation in government.
