I’m sorry but if you willingly choose to not vaccinate your children for the big diseases proven to kill children and it happens, that is manslaughter. Pure stupidity that this is even being discussed. Vaccines have saved millions of lives.

It should be child neglect. If our government had any sense, it would’ve already been child neglect to not give your newborn the bare minimum vaccines

your "as a gay black man" schtick doesn't change the fact that parents not giving kids the bare minimum vaccinations to not risk death or severe illness is child endangerment, and should be treated as such

Religious freedoms shouldn’t allow you to kill your kid. If child sacrifices is part of your religion, is that supposed to just slide because it’s religion based?

I agree. But I also think we shouldn’t be condemning people solely based on their religious beliefs. Somebody can get bodily autonomy if they emancipate themselves at 16 (14 in some states), and then make choices for themselves. With herd immunity, it really isn’t too much risk. I also trust the vaccines I have and I’m not worried about getting sick. If anything natural selection will just take its course.
