I refuse to land there. I made my company pay an extra 200 to go to JFK bc I also refuse to land at Newark. And the day after I landed, Newark lost all radios and radar for 3 minutes. Fuck that

This goes back to when Reagan fired 11k controllers when they went on strike. The FAA never recovered from that. He completely disrupted the natural pattern they had with generations of controllers retiring at the mandatory retirement age to be replaced by younger ones
