Conservatives need to understand there are two reasons people make fun of Kirk. One is to mock the hypocrisy of right wingers joking about Democrats getting assaulted or assassinated, and the other is because Kirk was such a hateful person while was he was alive. His views are worth mocking. To all the right wingers pissed about these jokes: you can’t withhold empathy for everyone else and then expect it back. That’s not how it works. Have a taste of your own medicine for once.
